Polish food at agricultural fairs in China

China International Agricultural Trade Fair were held on 5-8 November in Kunming, the capital of the Yunnan province.

Poland was also present at the fair. Polish food was being promoted at the national stand with an area of 108 m2, prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. It included companies from the dairy industry, producers of honey and sweets, as well as apples. The event featured cooking demonstrations and tastings prepared by Polish chefs. On the first day of the fair, the Polish stand was opened by Minister Krzysztof Jurgiel who came to China on an official visit. It was also visited by Chinese Deputy Minister of Agriculture Qu Dongyu.

The China International Agricultural Trade Fair is the largest and most prestigious exhibition event of the agricultural sector in China, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China. This year's edition was attended by 500 exhibitors who presented their offers on a surface of 65,000 m2. According to the organisers, the exhibition has attracted more than 200,000 visitors from around the world.
