Polish-Montenegrin talks

Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Krzysztof Jurgiel received the newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro in Poland, Ljiljana Tošković.

The meeting was devoted, first of all, to the issues of cooperation in the field of agriculture between Poland and Montenegro.

Minister K. Jurgiel expressed his satisfaction with the current activities in the field of agricultural cooperation between our countries. He also congratulated on Montenegro’s involvement in the process of pre-accession preparations. In this context, he confirmed the willingness of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture Ministry to the further development of expert exchange with Montenegrin partners, especially in terms of issues of adapting the agricultural sector to the EU requirements. In addition, the Minister pointed to the possibility of developing trade between our countries.

Ambassador L. Tosković thanked for current support, which Poland had provided to Montenegro in the work on adapting the agricultural sector to the EU requirements. She also expressed hope on the further development of existing cooperation in the field of agriculture.
