Today, Secretary of State, Jacek Bogucki, hosted Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Republic of Kenya, Andrew Tuimur.

The meeting was mainly devoted to the issues of economic cooperation. In this context, Secretary of State J. Bogucki asked for support in the finalisation of the procedures related to the access of Polish agri-food products to the market of Kenya as quickly as possible (finalisation of arrangements for the access of poultry, dairy products and products of plant origin).
The Ministers emphasised the importance of developing trade relations, allowing direct exchange of export specialities of both countries.
The second key topic of the meeting was Polish experience in the modernisation of agriculture and agri-food processing, which are of interest to the Kenyan side.
