The DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL MATTERS AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION carries out the tasks vested in the Minister in the area of social security of farmers, social and professional participation of rural inhabitants, entrepreneurship development, labour market, occupational health and safety, agricultural education, protection of the cultural heritage of rural areas, as well as cooperation with trade unions, social and professional organisations of farmers and with the agricultural self-government.
